10 Tips to be a Successful Wife!

10 Tips to be a Successful Wife!

1. Make Du’a to Allah to make your marriage and relationship successful

All good things are from Allah. Never forget to ask Allah for the blessing of having a successful marriage that begins in this world and continues on – by the Mercy of Allah – into Paradise.

2. Listen and obey! :)

Obeying your husband is obligatory! Your husband is the Ameer (head) of the household. Give him that right and respect.

3. Always seek to please your husband, for he is your key to Jannah

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught us that any woman who dies in a state that her husband is pleased with her, shall enter Paradise. So, please him.

4. An argument is a fire in the house

Extinguish it with a simple ‘I’m sorry’ even if it is not your fault. When you fight back, you are only adding wood to the fire. Watch how sweetly an argument will end when you just say sincerely, “Look, I’m sorry. Let’s be friends.”

5. Thank your husband constantly for the nice things he does

Then thank him again. This is one of the most important techniques, as the opposite (ungratefulness) is a characteristic of the women of hellfire.

6. Joke and play games with your husband

A man’s secret: they seek women who are light-hearted and have a sense of humor. As the Prophet (peace be upon him) told Jabir to marry someone who would make him laugh and he would make her laugh.

7. Always wear jewelry and dress up in the house

From the early years, little girls have adorned themselves with earrings and bracelets and worn pretty dresses – as described in the Qur’an. As a wife, continue to use the jewelry that you have and the pretty dresses for your husband.

8. Review the characteristics of the Hoor Al-Ayn and try to imitate them

The Qur’an and Sunnah describe the women in Jannah with certain characteristics. Such as the silk they wear, their large dark eyes, etc. Try it, wear silk for your husband, put Kohl in your eyes to ‘enlarge’ them, and be good to your husband.

9. When your husband comes home, greet him with a wonderful greeting

Imagine your husband coming home to a clean house, an exquisitely dressed wife, a dinner prepared with care, children clean and sweet smelling, a clean bedroom – what would this do to his love for you? Now imagine what the opposite does to him.

10. Use your ‘Fitnah’ to win the heart of your husband

All women have the ornaments that Allah blessed them with. Use the beauty Allah has bestowed on you to win the heart of your husband.

Six Things Which Weaken The Relations:

1)  Misbehaving
2)  Ignoring
3) Lying
4) Breaking Promises
5) Avoiding Contact
6) Doubting

Six Things Which Strengthen The Relations:

 1) Good Attitude
 2) Helping
3) Trusting

Six Etiquette of Seeking a Spouse an Islamic Perspective

Six Etiquette of Seeking a Spouse an Islamic Perspective
01. Ask yourself "Why I am getting married ?"
" Because of all my friends are " is not a legitimate reason. Marriage from an Islamic perspective, is part of faith and it is part of Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).

02. Ask yourself
" What I am looking for in a spouse ? "
Abu Hurairah (r a ) related that the Prophet (pbuh) said , " Men choose women for four reasons

  • For their money
  • For their rank
  • For their beauty
  • And for their religion  but marry one who is religious and you will succeed (Bukhari , Muslim)
03. If you are looking for a spouse , lower your gaze

"Tell the believing men to lower their gaze and be modest. That is purer for them. Lo ! Allah is aware of what they do." (surah An Noor:30)

"And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and be modest , and to display their adornment only that which is apparent, and to draw their veils over their bosoms..." (surah An Noor:31)

Narrated Jabir Ibn Abdullah (r a) "When one of you asked women in marriage , if he is able to look at what will induce him to marry her , he should do so..." (Abu Dawud)

This means the two potential spouses can look at each other but not ogle or stare. Abdullah (r a) also noted that there is no limit on the number of times the two people can look at each other. However both should fear Allah and remember the purpose of this to satisfy the need for physical attraction to the person you are marrying. He also notes it is not permissible for a man to see a potential wife without hijab , since he is not her Mahram (a relative with whom marriage is not possible, or legally her Husband). Abdullah (r a) says seeing her face and hands are enough to determine attraction.

04. Get someone to help

05. When you meet don't be alone
"Whenever man is alone with a women the shaytan makes a third." (Tirmidi)
" Not one of you should meet a women alone unless she is meeting alone, unless she is accompanied by a relative within the prohibited degrees." (Bukhari , Muslim)

06. When you speak , be businesslike and to the point
The purpose of meeting and talking  to each other must also remain within Islamic guidelines. That means no flirtatious speech of sexual nature on either side.

Benefits of WUDU in Health and Beauty

Benefits of WUDU in Health and Beauty

Islamic prayer Salat is proceeded by Wudu or ablution that contributes greatly towards the health of the individual and as results beauty also enhances as it cleans one’s heart, soul and body. New researches also prove that washing face 5 times a day for Salat deeply cleanses skin and keeps the skin radiant. Islamic point of view considers radiant and healthy skin as the noor (illuminating light) of Allah on the face of believer as our Holy Prophet (PBUH) is one of the examples.

Oral Hygiene is another significant consequence of the Wudu. The mouth is rinsed and the teeth are brushed with miswak (a plant) and surely cause a considerable decrease in all the infections in the mouth, teeth and gums. Having clean and shiny teeth adds on the beauty of smiling face and helpful in producing a million dollar smile.

Wudu has also a very undeviating connection with the Istanja practice a process of washing genitals after urinating. Istanja routine prevents urinary tract Infections (UTI’s) and ensures the healthiness and fitness of body. As if any drop of urine remains on the body, an impurity must be removed to remain healthy.

Islam is the only religion that directly contributes to the personal health and beauty, by providing Islamic system and teachings for men and women to live their lives peacefully. In Quran Allah swt, says that Allah is Jameel (Beautiful beyond imagination) and He loves the beauty. Islam being the deen (religion) of Allah and Islamic teaching based upon Quranic words and Hadeeth (actions and sayings of the last prophet in Islam) imparts and focuses on the significance of appearing beautiful inside out. By performing these rituals and practices the person especially women can enhance their beauty, ambiance and elegance.

When a person performs wudu or ablution, he performs 26 precise movements 5 times a day and this prescription is for optimum health and vigor. Allah says in Quran:

“O ye who believe! When ye prepare for prayer, wash your faces, and your hands (and arms) to the elbows; Rub your heads (with water); and (wash) your feet to the ankles. If ye are in a state of ceremonial impurity, bathe your whole body. But if ye are ill, or on a journey, or one of you cometh from offices of nature, or ye have been in contact with women, and ye find no water, then take for yourselves clean sand or earth, and rub therewith your faces and hands, Allah doth not wish to place you in a difficulty, but to make you clean, and to complete his favor to you, that ye may be grateful.” (Surah Maida :6)

The rules of Dawah

"Invite (all) to the Way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious: for thy Lord knowing best, who have strayed from His Path, and who receive guidance.(An Nahl : 125)"

The Rules for Dawah (Preaching Islam)
ALLAH our Lord tells us how to go about spreading His Message. There are three main points to be noted in this verse:

1. Wisdom
2. Fair Preaching
3. Argue in the best way

Wisdom comes with correct knowledge, so the first step is to gain the knowledge of Qur’an and Sunnah through the authentic sources and master them to a reasonable level.

Fair preaching includes to do justice with the knowledge attained by first applying it to ones self and then to pass it on in the true form without adding or subtracting.

Argue in the best way by maintaining a good level of behavior, sincerity and responsibility. To argue just for the sake of disagreeing does not bring forth positive results. It also includes ignoring and leaving all the unnecessary gestures and conversations that are irrelevant.

share with others.
