7 Ways to Improve Your Relationship with The Qur'an!

,

.::::.

“O my Lord, indeed my people have taken this Qur’an as a thing (abandoned)”.”

[Surah 25: 30]

ARE you one of those people who rarely touch the Qur’an? Or do you read daily, but don’t find it is having the impact on you that it should? Whatever the case may be, these are some simple tips that can help you connect with the Qur’an.

1. Before you touch it, check your heart.

The key to really benefiting from the Qur’an is to check your heart first, before you even touch Allah’s Book. Ask yourself, honestly, why you are reading it. Is it to just get some information and to let it drift away from you later? Remember that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was described by his wife as a “walking Qur’an”: in other words, he didn’t just read and recite the Qur’an, he lived it.

2. Do your Wudu (ablution).

Doing your Wudu is good physical and mental preparation to remind you that you’re not reading just another book. You are about to interact with God, so being clean should be a priority when communicating with Him.

3. Read at least 5 minutes everyday.

Too often, we think we should read Qur’an for at least one whole hour. If you aren’t in the habit of reading regularly, this is too much. Start off with just five minutes daily. If you took care of step one, Insha Allah (God willing), you will notice that those five minutes will become 10, then half an hour, then an hour, and maybe even more!

4. Make sure you understand what you’ve read.

Five minutes of reading the Qur’an in Arabic is good, but you need to understand what you’re reading. Make sure you have a good translation of the Qur’an in the language you understand best. Always try to read the translation of what you’ve read that day.

5. Remember, the Qur’an is more interactive than a CD.

In an age of “interactive” CD-Roms and computer programs, a number of people think books are passive and boring. But the Qur’an is not like that. Remember that when you read the Qur’an, you are interacting with Allah. He is talking to you, so pay attention.

6. Don’t just read; listen too.

There are now many audio cassettes and CDs of the Qur’an, a number of them with translations as well. This is great to put on your walkman or your car’s CD or stereo as you drive to and from work. Use this in addition to your daily Qur’an reading, not as a replacement for it.

7. Make Dua (supplication).

Ask Allah to guide you when you read the Qur’an. Your aim is to sincerely, for the love of Allah, interact with Him by reading, understanding and applying His blessed words. Making Dua to Allah for help and guidance will be your best tool for doing this.

Children of Prophet Muhammad

Children of Prophet Muhammad

Prophet Muhammad had five children from his first wife Khadijah. One son, Al qasim died when he was still a baby, and four daughters: Zaynab, Ruqayah, Fatimah, and Om Kolthoom. The last child, a boy Abrahim was born 628 A.D. He was the only child born to the Prophet after Prophet Muhammad (may Peace Be Upon Him) knew that he was to be a Messenger of God. His mother was Maria, an Egyptian whom the king of Egypt sent to Prophet Muhammad (may Peace Be Upon Him) as a handmaid servant and Prophet Muhammad married her in 627.
Zaynab married her cousin Al'Ass Ibn Al-Rabeah. Zaynab had only one child who died as a baby. Zaynab died in 630 A.D.
Ruqayah was the wife of Othman Ibn affan. She had one boy who died possibly from an infection after a rooster pecked his eye. She died in 624 A.D. She died on the same day of the battle of Badr.
Om Kolthoom was also married to Othman after Ruqayah's death . She had no children. She died in 631 A.D.
Fatimah married Ali Ibn Aby Talib who was the cousin of the Prophet (may Peace Be Upon Him) and who later became the fourth Calipha. He died in 662 A.D. They had two sons, Al-Hassan and Al-Hussein and one daughter Om Kolthoom. Fatimah died in 632 A.D.
Al-Hassan was seven years old, and Al-Huseein was six when Prophet Muhammad (may Peace Be Upon Him) died in 632 A.D. The Prophet loved them very much. There were even some prophecies about them. Al-Hassan became Calipha in 662 A.D. He resigned after five months and passed his leadership to Mouawiah Ibn Aby Sofian. Prophet Muhammad Prophesied that a man named Muhammad Ibn Abdullah (Al-Mahdi), a descendant of Al Hassan, would one day work with the Prophet Jesus (may Peace Be Upon Him) to kill the Anti-Christ and establish an Islamic state. Al-Hussein died in 682 A.D.
Most of Al-Hussein's children were killed in the wars. Only two children survived after Al-Hussein's death. The daughter of Fatimah, Om Kolthoom married Omar Ibn Al Khataab, the second Calipha. She had a boy named Zayd. Zayd fought along with his uncle Al-Hussein, in the battle of Karbellah. The descendants of Al-Hussein and Zayd still exist today. Fatimah died a few months after the death of Prophet Muhammad (may Peace Be Upon Him). The Prophet prophesied that Fatimah would be the first of his family to die after him, and it would be soon.

SO,WHOSE TOMB PICTURE   ::
The tomb on the photo’s are not the BLESSED one of our Prophet (salallahu aleyhi was salaam) but it is the tomb of Uthman Ghazi, the first sultan of the Ottoman Empire!
And here is the proof : match these pictures..
His tomb on old postcards:

And the state of the tomb in recent times:

What a pity that in many Muslim countries this tomb is presented as the tomb of the Prophet (salallahualeyhi sallam) and pictures are sold and are hanged into houses.
PS: The Prophet’s (salallahu aleyhi was salaam) has no tomb or sanduqa on it.
Al-Qadi ‘Iyad has reported from the major scholars that it is best to make a hump over the grave because Sufyan an-Nammar told him that he had seen the grave of the Prophet, peace be upon him, with a hump over it.” (Bukhari)
Ja’far bin Muhammad reported from his father: “The grave of the Prophet, peace be upon him, was raised one hand from the ground and was coated with red clay and some gravel.” This was narrated by Abu Bakr An-Najjad

Message To Muslim Sisters

My dear sisters in Islam, I welcome you all with the best of greetings: As Salamu Alikum Wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakatu.
Wallahi my dear sisters in Islam, we should not overlook this blessing that Allah (SWT) has granted us with, this blessing of Islam is and should be the most precious thing in our life. Yes, the most important, Islam should be dearer to you than your own parents, Islam should be dearer to you than your own husband, and Islam should be dearer to you than your own child as this religion will guide you.

It will give you success in all aspects of life; it will give you the respect you're looking for, it will give you the honour you're looking for and more importantly it will give you the guidance you need so that you may attain the everlasting bliss from the hereafter. Remember o sisters, remember your role in society, do not be little in your job in society, you are the mothers who look after the family, you are the one who show love and respect to its members, you are the first of the teachers of this Ummah, you are the soothers and carers of the men of this ummah, the success of this ummah lays upon your shoulders o sisters of Islam

. Remember khadija, the first wife of prophet Muhammad (SAW), she was one of the greatest women that ever lived. In the early stages of the prophet hood of our beloved prophet Muhammad (SAW), she protected him, she gave him finance, she cared for him, she comforted him and most importantly she believed in him. My dear sisters in Islam, as we look around in today's society, we notice that many sisters are being mislead, we notice that more and more sisters are living for this world and not for the hereafter, more and more sisters do not know who Allah (SWT) is, more and more sisters are leaving the prayers, more and more sisters are taking off the hijab and more and more sisters are being seen in nightclubs and pubs, dating men and having a good time.

My dear sisters in Islam, we must wake up before it's too late, we must start changing and make Islam our priority in life, we must love Allah (SWT) than anything else in this world, we must stay focused on all this deception that is happening, we must remember the very reason of our existence as Allah (SWT) said in the Quran: I have not created the jinn nor mankind only, so that they worship Me, meaning Allah (SWT), my dear sisters in Islam, if you love diamonds and pearls, do not be deceived by this worldly treasures as the treasure in the hereafter is far greater, look at the sign of dead, as we speak someone dies and they will have eternal lives, will they live in the paradise and enjoys its bliss or will they suffer in the hellfire? And my final quote to you is: will you choose what is best for you or will you lose yourself in this life and in the hereafter.
