A Islamic requirement of Marriage
The Prophet (pbuh) declared
"When the servant of Allah marries, he has fulfilled half the
(responsibilities laid on him by the) faith : so let him is God
conscious with respect to the other half." (Mishkat)
"We indeed sent messengers before you (O Muhammad), and we assigned them wives and children." (Al Quran 13: 38)
The Prophet (pbuh) said
"Marriage is my Sunnah, whoever disregards my (Sunnah) path is not from among us." (Ibn Majah )
"Whoever is able to marry, should marry." (Bukhari)
What are the benefits of Marriage ?1. Fulfillment of Deen
"When a man marries, he indeed perfect half of his religion. Then he should fear Allah for the remaining helf." (Bukhari)
2. Protection from Sin
They are your garments and ye are their garments.(Al Baqara - 187)
3. Support and Protection
Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because Allah has given the one more (strength) than the other, and because they support them from their means. Therefore the righteous women are devoutly obedient, and guard in (the husband´s) absence what Allah would have them guard.(An Nisaa - 34)
4. Companionship
the companion by your side (An Nisaa - 36)
