The rules of Dawah

"Invite (all) to the Way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious: for thy Lord knowing best, who have strayed from His Path, and who receive guidance.(An Nahl : 125)"

The Rules for Dawah (Preaching Islam)
ALLAH our Lord tells us how to go about spreading His Message. There are three main points to be noted in this verse:

1. Wisdom
2. Fair Preaching
3. Argue in the best way

Wisdom comes with correct knowledge, so the first step is to gain the knowledge of Qur’an and Sunnah through the authentic sources and master them to a reasonable level.

Fair preaching includes to do justice with the knowledge attained by first applying it to ones self and then to pass it on in the true form without adding or subtracting.

Argue in the best way by maintaining a good level of behavior, sincerity and responsibility. To argue just for the sake of disagreeing does not bring forth positive results. It also includes ignoring and leaving all the unnecessary gestures and conversations that are irrelevant.
